I read two important things in the article:

(1) A recognition that broad band is going to be huge.

(2) AOL either is too stupid to see that. Or too scared to acknowledge it.

ATHM can handle competition. Paul Allen will not take over Comcast, AT&T, etc. He will be a small niche player, all the while showing the rest of the world how important fat pipes are.

I will say this: "Pipeline" is a much better name than "@home."
