MERRILL LYNCH TO INSTALL GENTNER AUDIO CONFERENCING EQUIPMENT TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 1999 7:03 AM EST - PRNewswire in New Corporate Learning Center SALT LAKE CITY, April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Gentner Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:GTNR) today announced that Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. (NYSE:MER) has selected Gentner's Audio Perfect(R) conferencing products for use in its new Corporate and Institutional Client Group (CICG) Learning Center. The CICG Learning Center is scheduled to open on July 1, 1999 and will be used primarily to provide training and education for Merrill Lynch employees. The center will also be available for lease by outside organization as availability permits. Gentner's AP800 and AP10 products will be installed in 14 rooms, including an auditorium, to facilitate large group and multi-site audio conferencing. All of the center's rooms can be linked together providing users with a state-of-the-art training and learning facility. Design and specifications for the center were done by the consulting firm of Shen Milsom & Wilke, Inc. (New York), while Ace AudioVisual (New York) is responsible for the integration. "Each room presents a unique set of challenges that would have traditionally been addressed by using multiple audio products," said Joe Melfa of Ace.
