Pat, this is true: someone put their dirty keyboard into the bath tub and washed it.

When it was re-connected to PC and the PC wouldn't work, the fellow called MSFT technical support and asked, "Why?"

Sounds like something a friend would do. She worries about dirty objects and houses ~ constantly.
