First off, I am long RNWK and I love the company (investors should never say that, by the way).... There was an excellent article today in Investor's Business Daily in the "Investor's Corner" section. Basically, it was a very bearish article (IBD is rarely wrong, IMO).... I have to agree with those that have stated that RNWK will gap up near or above 200 tomorrow morning, only to be downdrafted to close much lower. It will be a sell on the news type of day. I also believe that MSFT's earnings are not going to be good enough to help the market tomorrow. Today's action in RNWK and the general market was nothing more than a dead cat bounce. The market is acting very strange. If you look at the volume the last week or two on both the Nasdaq and the NYSE, you would have to agree that there are underlying concerns. Personally, I think it is a combination of tech over-valuation, the Kosovo situation (we are headed towards a ground war folks), and the beginning of Y2K nervousness. These are not positive things going on. So what does a strong supporter of internet stocks do in a situation like this? Be cautious and take what profits you have in stocks that have performed so well. And also sell the ones that are starting to break down... this would include CMGI and MSFT .... Bottom line for me... take advantage of the gap open tomorrow and sell RNWK.... and start to sell the other ones .... Others like myself will be looking to get out very soon and will take advantage of today's bounce to sell before it is too late... Good luck to all RNWK longs.... don't get too carried away with the nice run-up... don't be too greedy... I will be back in after the dust settles... and if I miss the rest of this run, I won't complain... I made my share already.....
