Briefing.Com 21 April 1999 EMC Corp. (EMC 102 1/8 +11/16) edged higher after reporting gain of $0.41, one cent above estimates... Company earned $0.28 in the year ago period... Revenues jumped 36.5%... Company also noted that it sees no slowdown in business... In light of good numbers, reassuring comments and earnings upgrade by CS First Boston (FY99 to $2.00 from $1.95), stock's puny gain not that encouraging... Suggests that we could see a little more backing and filling before stock resumes its upward momentum.
