Are you kidding me? The media goes nuts over this kind of stuff.

You make it sound like there is some kind of big conspiracy, controlled by the government, and that the press is being controlled.

Just be aware that some enterprise software companies are prospering even with y2k issues. Siebel is booming for example, 100% e increase so not everybody suffers in y2k. Personally, I have always felt y2k is an excuse for market saturation and thats why not everybody is effected by it. I don't believe msft will be affected by y2k if they can get something out that resembles win2000 this year.
