As Perry Mason said, "I rest my case". A $billion here, a $billion there, pretty soon it adds up to real money! If the PC Company had not had such dismal results, what would the bottom line look like? The EPS # would look pretty sweet. I believe that IBM needs to compete and win in the mid-range server market (Netfinity, RS/6000, etc.), they don't need to be in a money losing business that has limited potential to add to their growth. Again, JMHO.
