Given:

the low level of earnings warnings this quarter

followed by the unusually large number of companies reporting earnings above estimates,

I'd have to question the intelligence of anyone who is short high tech after yesterday's opportunity to cover.

No I am not short DELL. It actually occurred to that I might buy some DELL, even though I think it is overpriced, if that is what it takes to get answers to polite questions.

Does anyone know what the SEC rules are about how many shares a company officer can sell at one time? If Michael Dell is not selling the maximum that he is allowed, he at least considers it prudent to convert some of his stock into cash. But if he is selling as fast as the law allows, he may well be expecting some hard times for the company in the next couple of years.
