Robert, would a wager like that be legal in the US? I suppose one could structure a private option contract with cash settlement and do it. But why go through the trouble when all one need do is bring up one's account, and bet the way they want?

Who are these lemmings to which you refer? I think holding onto a stock after the company promises massive dilution of their interest is on the way is much more lemming like.

BTW, it's not like you're the first fellow who's done this tired song and dance on one of Bill's threads. Bill's still here, they've all slunk away with their tails between their legs.

Yoest, you sound more shrill every day. You are obviously quite emotionally involved with your VLNC investment. Not a good move.

By the way, your comment, "The SEC filing show that Castle Creek hasn't shorted a single share!" is simply wrong. Why do you think the terms of the VLNC deal with Castle Creek limit their ownership to no more than 4.9% of the shares? Answer: so they don't have to report their buying and selling.

Pray tell, Robert, what assurance does Bill or anyone else have that someone won't pump VLNC to that magic $13 level just to win the wager? For all we know mooter could be one of the market makers in VLNC.

I think it's time for you to leave this thread, Robert.

Robert Yoest - using a calm, well-reasoned approach - predicts big things for VLNC (4/20/99).

As Robert says, "Everyone's watching..."
