Absolutely agreed. Larger rockfalls weathered closer to the future bed. Although sapphires will survive a bit longer than emeralds it is not a pleasant trip banging and clanging on rocks. Although second to diamonds in hardness corumdom is far from the hardness of a diamond. They all are , diamonds included, easily cracked and flawed.
