As I also posted earlier, the article in NLJ mentions that Clinton was law professor to half the members of the ethics committee and formerly worked with the rest. Not surprising in a backwater like Arkansas. JLA

Did you hear about the settlement in the Milbank case? Lerach, a master of the strike suit and a very good buddy of Bubba, took a big hit ($50 million)in a lawsuit brought by some parties who claimed they were wrongfully sued by Milbank and Co. as part of a personal vendetta of Lerach. Very interesting. The hunter becomes the prey. JLA

Well, I'm off to bed. Haven't had much sleep since Friday as I was preparing for a trial in the bankruptcy court today. The judge ruled in my client's favor from the bench at the close. I just love the smell of napalm in the morning. <ggg> I suspect we'll be hearing all the lame excuses for gun control for the next few weeks owing to Colorado. Clinton's remarks seemed very trite to me. I just can't take anything the guy says seriously and on the heels of such a senseless tragedy, it just seems to cheapen the whole thing. JLA
