I saw the stock slowly falling down from 2.9 to under 2... I realise now it wasn't a loss... Just about even. I wanted to get out an get into a new stock I have a feeling for. Just so many stocks...

I spent some time on Edgar this evening looking at Sloan's SEC filings. According to their most recent SEC filing, (a form 14A filed a couple of weeks ago), the Sloan Electronics Board of Directors will meet in May to approve a name change that better reflects the business strategy of the company. (Go to www.sec.gov and search the Edgar archives under Sloan Electronics. It is all there). This company is real and is clearly executing a business plan to seize a share of the distance learning market on the internet. I have to agree with Mr. Metals that it is a yet undiscovered internet play. If my quick read of SLEL's most recent 10K is right, (March 30 1999), they have also retained an investors relations firm to make their change in business focus to the internet, better known to the investing public. Once the IR firm gets the word out, this stock could really get explosive. (According to the 10K, the IR firm is paid by having rights to 35,000 shares of stock. They are properly motivated.) I picked up some shares today and will add more tomorrow. If I read things right, this could be a rocket ride. Those who went for the quick buck during the run up today and sold right away (because they think this is just a P&D) are going to miss the main event. I expect a gap up tomorrow.
