Ah .. you know i remember hearing that before ... you'll know the overall picture then. Here's the deal - we've had a hot stock on Toronto the last few days, gle, they make tank heaters, generators and stuff, and are working on sofc fuel cells ... ran from ~1.00 to 15.00 and settled today mid-way. The stock started moving 08/04 on this release - newswire.ca

Then last Friday they announced a deal with Delphi ... if you like, come on over, there are lots of questions -g- #reply-9042323

Careful Zeev,
The company deals in platinum and it's name starts with "Global". Can't be a good omen (VBG)

PS
I wandered over here from GPGI to see if you were being more liberal with your list of questions/redflags r/t GPGI's recent promotion. While I was here I thought I'd wander around and see if I could pick up any table scraps from the investment knight sitting around the "round table". PROG looks kind of interesting.

Zeev,
I seems like many of the SI threads have been especially quiet since last week. Maybe many have decided to spend some extra time with their families in light of the terrible tragedy in Colorado. I live very close to the High School and it is amazing how many thousands of individuals were affected personally (in additional to how the country or world is affected by something so tragic). It is a little like the game 7 degrees of Kevin Baker only Everyone can connect personally with only 1 or 2 degrees of separation and there is absolutely no humor involved. One can only hope that as the world becomes smaller it's inhabitants will grow in their compassion to one another, on a macro if not micro level.

Sorry for the rambling, I'm using this thread to vent/process etc. and that wasn't my original intent.

My intent in visiting this illustrious thread was to ask you to consider taking a little time to look into a company called Tenfold.

I apologize if this is inappropriate for this thread. Do to your reputation, You may get numerous request like this. I would not bother you if I didn't think you and others on this thread would also benefit.

I will not bog you down with much of my thoughts on the company (if you wish, you can learn of my attraction to this stock on the fairly new SI thread "Tenfold Will --Fly -Stock will increase "10 Fold").
I will simply say that it is a company with solid fundamentals, a very positive corporate culture and proven industry leaders, which from it's inception has been competing very favorably in its very competitive market. It has an upcoming IPO.

I feel confident the company will continue to do well and that it's stock will likewise do fine but how that relates to their IPO I don't know. (I'm sure a lot of this depends on the IPO pricing which is due out the end of May) And how and if there is any way for a small investor to participate in the IPO I don't know. I would appreciate any input you can offer on these questions and any other IPO rocks to steer clear of. All of this may be a mute question as I don't know if I can participate in an IPO as a small private investor. I also apologize if this information is old to you. Perhaps most professional investors are already well aware of TenFold's upcoming IPO.

Below is list of current PR News releases with the most resent reprinted, it will have some links to the company website etc.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as the lead managing underwriter of the
offering. Other managing underwriters of the offering include BT Alex.
Brown and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray. Copies of the preliminary
prospectus may be obtained when available from Goldman, Sachs & Co., 85 Broad Street, New York, NY, 10004, (212) 902-1171.

TenFold and Perot Systems Announce Strategic Alliance to Deliver
Applications and Services

Strategic Alliance to Deliver Applications and Services; Perot Systems
to Purchase Equity Stake in TenFold

SALT LAKE CITY, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- TenFold Corporation, an
innovative software and services company, and Perot Systems Corporation
(NYSE: PER - news) of Dallas, Texas today announced a strategic alliance
to develop and deliver applications and related services to customers
worldwide. The two companies will work together to provide customer
solutions using TenFold's methodology and unique technology for rapidly
delivering large-scale, complex applications.

In addition, Perot Systems will have the opportunity to purchase
1,000,000 TenFold shares being offered in TenFold's pending initial
public offering. TenFold filed a registration statement with the
Securities and Exchange Commission March 8, 1999 relating to its
proposed initial public offering of common stock.

Through their strategic relationship, TenFold and Perot Systems plan to
deliver innovative applications, products and services to joint
customers in insurance, investment management, banking and credit,
utilities and energy, healthcare, telecommunications, and other
industries. This alliance will provide an important new capability to
Perot Systems' already established integrated service offerings. Under
the terms of the agreement, Perot Systems will provide TenFold with
opportunities to generate $30 million of revenues for customer
applications and services contracts.

''I have been in the information technology industry for over forty
years and TenFold is one of the most unique companies that I have ever
encountered,'' said Ross Perot, chairman and chief executive of Perot
Systems. ''I believe TenFold's technology will have a positive impact on
the information technology industry. Unlike many new technology
companies, TenFold has a seasoned, experienced team of business leaders,
technologists and a strong sales force. TenFold's business ethics and
high personal standards for their team members are major factors in
their success. It is a privilege to work with TenFold to help achieve
its full potential.''

TenFold will train Perot Systems staff on the TenFold Way, TenFold's
disciplined methodology for designing, building and delivering
applications. The two companies will deliver applications based on
TenFold's unique Universal Application(TM) that automates and
accelerates applications development and testing.

''TenFold and Perot Systems have complementary business models,'' said
Gary Kennedy, president and CEO of TenFold Corporation. ''In the past
few weeks we have identified numerous opportunities where we will work
with Perot Systems to add significant value to their clients. TenFold
and Perot Systems will provide customers innovative, vertical industry
applications not available from today's software vendors and traditional
service companies.''

Building Applications the TenFold Way

TenFold and Perot Systems plan to rapidly build and implement complex
applications for customers using the TenFold Way, a start-to-finish
approach to working closely with customers to design, develop, test,
deliver, and evolve custom applications. The TenFold Way organizes a
project into phases, each with well-defined activities and deliverables,
and combines continuous communication and customer feedback with rapid,
iterative development to keep projects on target.

Applications developers use the TenFold Way in conjunction with the
Universal Application, a sophisticated applications architecture that
reduces design effort and automates and accelerates applications
development and testing. Using the Universal Application, applications
developers begin projects having pre-built significant functionality and
having already solved many complex applications design and
implementation problems. In addition, TenFold ComponentWare is a library
of components, reusable across multiple applications and industries,
that add complex, business-specific functionality to an application and
reduce applications-specific programming.

TenFold and Perot Systems will also use FastStart technology and
implementation services to quickly put applications into production.
FastStart automates much of the data conversion, data cleanup,
applications interfacing, and parallel testing needed to rapidly
implement applications.

All thoughts appreciated.
