Zeev, I seems like many of the SI threads have been especially quiet since last week. Maybe many have decided to spend some extra time with their families in light of the terrible tragedy in Colorado. I live very close to the High School and it is amazing how many thousands of individuals were affected personally (in additional to how the country or world is affected by something so tragic). It is a little like the game 7 degrees of Kevin Baker only Everyone can connect personally with only 1 or 2 degrees of separation and there is absolutely no humor involved. One can only hope that as the world becomes smaller it's inhabitants will grow in their compassion to one another, on a macro if not micro level.
Sorry for the rambling, I'm using this thread to vent/process etc. and that wasn't my original intent.
My intent in visiting this illustrious thread was to ask you to consider taking a little time to look into a company called Tenfold.
I apologize if this is inappropriate for this thread. Do to your reputation, You may get numerous request like this. I would not bother you if I didn't think you and others on this thread would also benefit.
I will not bog you down with much of my thoughts on the company (if you wish, you can learn of my attraction to this stock on the fairly new SI thread "Tenfold Will --Fly -Stock will increase "10 Fold"). I will simply say that it is a company with solid fundamentals, a very positive corporate culture and proven industry leaders, which from it's inception has been competing very favorably in its very competitive market. It has an upcoming IPO.
I feel confident the company will continue to do well and that it's stock will likewise do fine but how that relates to their IPO I don't know. (I'm sure a lot of this depends on the IPO pricing which is due out the end of May) And how and if there is any way for a small investor to participate in the IPO I don't know. I would appreciate any input you can offer on these questions and any other IPO rocks to steer clear of. All of this may be a mute question as I don't know if I can participate in an IPO as a small private investor. I also apologize if this information is old to you. Perhaps most professional investors are already well aware of TenFold's upcoming IPO.
Below is list of current PR News releases with the most resent reprinted, it will have some links to the company website etc.

Building Applications the TenFold Way
TenFold and Perot Systems plan to rapidly build and implement complex applications for customers using the TenFold Way, a start-to-finish approach to working closely with customers to design, develop, test, deliver, and evolve custom applications. The TenFold Way organizes a project into phases, each with well-defined activities and deliverables, and combines continuous communication and customer feedback with rapid, iterative development to keep projects on target.
Applications developers use the TenFold Way in conjunction with the Universal Application, a sophisticated applications architecture that reduces design effort and automates and accelerates applications development and testing. Using the Universal Application, applications developers begin projects having pre-built significant functionality and having already solved many complex applications design and implementation problems. In addition, TenFold ComponentWare is a library of components, reusable across multiple applications and industries, that add complex, business-specific functionality to an application and reduce applications-specific programming.
TenFold and Perot Systems will also use FastStart technology and implementation services to quickly put applications into production. FastStart automates much of the data conversion, data cleanup, applications interfacing, and parallel testing needed to rapidly implement applications.
