Yea Bill, I've always wondered what Mitch does for a day job and I think I've got a pretty good idea. Go back and read some of the prior shows he linked at the bottom, although there is a bunch of "you had to be there" kind of humor. Anyway, it sure brightens the day when we get one of those. -g-

What are we going to do about this market? Looks like your DELL exercise went south today if you didn't close it out. I have a sneaking suspicion it is going to run well above 40 on the view that they will eat CPQ's breakfast, lunch and dinner while the jokers stumble around. And it might turn out that way. The way the CPQ fiasco unfolded is really rather amazing and I'm not so sure I would feel too comfortable with Rosen taking charge if I were a shareholder. Heck, he was the Admiral.

bill linking 101...

1. first find the thing you want to link in your browser.
2. take your mouse up to the address line on your browser and click the left mouse button, which should highlight the address.
3. keep the mouse over the now highlighted address and click the right mouse button...a mini menu appears
4. choose "copy" on that mini menu
5. now go to where you want to put the link...such as in an si reply box.
6. click right mouse again and the mini-menu appears again.
7. choose "paste"

Anyway I stand by my opinion that Battapaglia and Fleckelstein are always on cnbc because they are cute. Cnbc is for inveestors that happen to look like actors imo.

Since Ice is asking you about what your gameplan is and thinks DELL is winning at the expense of CPQ et al -- what do you make of the CDWC release ... these guys at least grew revenues pretty well and earnings -- they have me pretty puzzled -- IM and ICO and CPQ showed a real margin crunch -- I know the product mix is a little different for CDWC, but still ...
