Hi Mohan, Thanks. Sounds like CPQ has got their spin doctors working overtime. I really loved the line, "Compaq's strategy is fundamentally sound," Rosen told analysts in a conference call Monday. But, he added, "we plan to speed up decision-making. We plan to anticipate and get ahead of industry changes." It certainly sounds as if the same system that put 5fer in place, that same system that has caused CPQ to lose its leadership, is still there and will continue to produce exactly the same results going forward. If Rosen holds onto the failed strategy, Dell will have no difficulty surpassing them within the next 4 years or less. JMHO, Ian.
