With ASP's slipping I am sure that MU is real happy they took on the TI burden. I know TI is; so happy they are smiling.

Texas Instruments tops forecasts
as sales of cell-phone chips rise
THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

April 20 — Texas Instruments Inc. posted
stronger-than-expected earnings for the first
quarter, powered by a 16% jump in revenue from
so-called digital signal processors, the chips that
run cellular telephones. The Dallas company
reported net income of $233 million, or 58 cents a
diluted share, up from just $11 million, or three
cents a share, a year earlier.
