Something else that I just thought of that came up in the LSI conference call today... It's just possible that some vendors are overordering now, in order to avoid any problems related to supply during the Y2K crisis that may or may not come about. Wilf Corrigan said that some of LSI's increase in orders is probably attributable to customers stockpiling in preparation for the end of the year.
