Good post on the DELL thread -
techstocks.com
Some excerpts:

If you are an owner of Compaq, if you wouldn't sell the stock at these levels, then you should be a buyer, lowering your cost basis in the process. Many are worried that this “PC” company will find its margins dried up and no where to turn.

Let me assure you that this is not the case with Compaq. They have two other businesses that will each throw off more profits in 2002 than the core PC business. If the services and storage businesses continue to grow at current rates, they will reap profits of $3.5 billion and $3 billion respectively vs. $3 billion for PC's.

This news comes from Oppenheimer, one of the Street's research firms.

C'mon Elwood, join Victor and his recruits in gettin' some new religion -- Rosen and his boys are on the case now, and all they can hear is us shareholders screaming, "SHOW US THE MONEY!"
CPQ will rise again!

O.K. back to reality -- Here's hoping for some upbeat comments about the next quarter in tomorrows cc. I'd be satisfied to hear that everything's under control, and there are no more negative surprises.
It's one thing to be at a bottom (I hope we are)and wait for a comeback, it's another thing to not know where the bottom is - take a look at the chart for Western Digital!

Here's hoping for a truly Good Morning!
