Type in c:\winnt\explorer.exe (or other folder depending on where it is). That should tell us if it is a shortcut problem or a changed configuration issue. Perhaps explorer is looking for something or remembers a previous configuration that got changed..

It opens from run command so I guess its a shortcut glitch. I'll try creating a new shortcut. Thanks zp.. did you happen to catch the hot-swapping removable drive discussion, err.. more like lecture <g> with Spots from last week? Looks like the Dataports need shut down computer to be saftly removed...Bummer huh..

In case you miss my post to Sean..I made a new shortcut to Explorer and it seems to be working. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I should have been able to have figured this one out myself. I hope Spots misses this little embarressment<g>
