Sean

start->run

explorer.exe<Enter Key>

Explorer opens from the run command so I guess the Programs shortcut got fouled up somehow. I assume I now just delete the existing Explorer shortcut in Programs menu and replace with a new one. Orr is there more to it since the explorer app wasn't moved and other times theres a message when a shortcut can't find its destination. With this one there's no message. But I'll try a new shortcut and report back if there's still a problem...

Thanks

EDIT: New Explorer shortcut worked ok.. thanks again Sean
