If you are a history freak about the Hundred Years War, you will LOVE reading, "The 14th Century...A Distant Mirror"! I hope you're able to pick it up. I'm sorry I don't remember who the author was. Although I must warn you, it might make you a wee bit cynical. Everytime I see our guys going to fight a war since reading that book, I think, "Well...there go the peasants fighting to get more land for their King." That's not meant as a knock on our military personnel. I'm sure that this one peasant, (Me), would be one of the first to scream for their protection if we were ever invaded. I'd be hiding behind them as far back as I could. I'm chicken and proud of it! <g> Juanita
