The public's corruption is not generally an active one. It is one that allows sins of omission. Rather than concern themselves with the principle behind abortion, they concern themselves more with the fear and thwarted dreams of the pregnant juvenile, and this allows them to tacitly support what in principle is pure murder. This same passive corruption allows Bill Clinton to remain president having apparently raped a woman.
