Yes. But the passive corruption to which I have referred causes many individuals within the public to join their minds to the anti-intellectual mush of society. They will accept most things both because many others do, and because they are unable or unwilling to stomach living by law. They rather live by whim, so that despite knowing in their guts that abortion is murder, they boisterously support it, even paying for it with their own money. I think it a corruption. I think it makes possible "leaders" like Bill Clinton, and even worse than he.
