Dear Juanita; God is Love as the scriptures tell us. He so loved the world that He sent his only Son. Justice is an important virtue and God is certainly just. A Holy God must address the evil that occurs daily, the killing in Colorado, the raping and killing in Kosovo. These are not paths to His Love and acceptance. The evening before Yeshua went to the cross He pleaded with the Father in Mat. 26:39 And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will." This has always been profound to me. If the death of Yeshua was not of critical importance then the prayer of Yeshua was not answered. Believing in the Life and sacrificial Death of the Savior will deepen your understanding of the Love God has for you. It is not necessary to believe others are wrong as all judgement should be left to God. Rom 3:44 …let God be found true, though every man be found a liar… The simplicity of God's sacrificial love can be clearly seen at the cross. Please do not allow evil speaking people to color your view of His Love and calling in your life. At the time of His death, simple and positive belief was all He required. It is all He will require of you. He will take care of the rest. Luke 23:39-43 One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!" But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise." Because of His Love for the World He gave his Life. The Father gave His Son. As a parent this idea is beyond my understanding. The mother of a hero in Colorado would be angered if her child's memory was not accepted and respected. Bless God Juanita and honor the memory of His Son's loving sacrifice for you. Shalom uv'rachah b'Yeshua HaMashiach - Peace and blessings in Messiah Yeshua - DLL
