Right, and Bill has said he wants to keep enough cash around as if he had to pay employees for a couple years with it. But it seems to me that they should bring in an investment manager to get a better performance than the t bills they are buying.

I suspect that they will just keep piling it up, and make a very expensive merger down the line with cash and stock. If they await for about 5 years, we are going to be looking at a pile of about 100 billion. It sounds like a joke but you can see that this is very real.
