Could someone assist me. Had a tech install Backoffice and NT replacing NOVEL. However, my personal calender is locked out to the rest of the staff. Permission Tab wont appear when you click to properties( as the manual suggest). Microsoft hasn't been too much help. Thank you in advance for your efforts. One other thing, anyone know how to turn off Netscapes warning that it is going to hang up as your connnections been idle for 5 minutes?

ZP I am not saying you should hot 'swap' it..but if there are no active programs..cache..or ? Does the Seagate backup program monitor the drive on a continuous basis or only at specific times? Right.no active programs but disk cache is still enabled. Seagate does not backup continuously. In this light, I have switched between my 1 Daily Backup and 2 Daily Backup successfully several times. BUT...Spots has indicated this is a disaster waiting to happen and Dataport tech also recommends a shutdown during a switch. Thats plenty nuf warning for me.. Your new machine problems are a puzzlement. Sounds like if ram is only component left to check, might be good to do so. Could some cabling be damaged? And now the monitor is bad too? What a string of bad luck your having. With so much going wrong its hard to be methodical to tract back problems. You could always swallow your pride and take the box into a shop. Wish I could be of some assistance... I know those here who have the knowledge to help would be more than happy to do so when you are ready to start asking questions... Right guys?? Clarence
