"As an investor, your interests are much better represented by focusing on the message, not the messenger." --------------- I don't think I needed that part of the lecture/advice...Because that IS my point exactly...thank you for repeating it. And I feel sympatico with the mentality/heroism of these "crime busting" forces. However, I think that there can still be a bit of overzealousness with all parties concerned in trying to PROVE their point...And then it becomes threatening and ugly to watch from there on. Not sure if that can be helped or not... I will be watching, listening and learning...But even on my AOL, MSFT, DCLK boards there is quite a bit of 'amatuer touting' going on and it isn't really necessary now, is it? So, if an INDIVIDUAL investor wants to tout his heart out...I don't really care...I may be new to POSTING at SI...but not new to reading their message boards along with all the others on the Internet. So I certainly can detect "hyping" when I see it. And anyone who is reading message boards learns soon enough what that is all about. Hey, I have been known to give a few people whackings now and again...so I don't stand above anyone else in that area...but once and a while we need to push ourselves away from the computer screen and perhaps rethink our positions/styles/motives...no matter which side of the aisle we are on. I appreciate your willingness to enlighten...and I would much rather be an INFORMED investor. However, I think with penny stocks it is nearly always an oxymoron at best. Aloha, Mary
