I agree 100%. The interesting thing that I am noticing in the markets is that most of the old standards for trading (i.e., buy on rumor, sell on news) no longer hold in todays market.

Everyone is trying to out think the Market and the institutional players that have historically driven the market in momentum plays. It's just messing things up. All bets are off as far as playing traditional momentum swings.

I would not be surprised if the selling started early this Q on MSFT with people attempting to beat the traditional sell off post earnings. Beating estimates these days is almost irrelevant for MSFT; what's important is that they just don't miss.

Here's hoping the buying starts soon.
