Thanks for the clarification, and, yes that was my question. I hadn't studied yet what the Ashton technology was intended to accomplish. Sounds like an instinet update.

Also, you're right about the Nasdaq limit order pool and its' probability for adoption. I think, however, that Nasdaq may be under the gun here because the ecn tide is coming in.
