How many of them are assembled here now? -- I was looking at a monitor for a friend (DELL), it was made in Malyasia -- probably 2 - 3 years old.

I think E-machines has them built in Korea. But the point is these things are well suited for the Internet, and have better features than a Pentium of a year and a half ago. (Faster, more Ram, bigger hard disks, faster CD's, 56K V.90 modems etc.)
At this pace I believe it will happen. And if you're going to penetrate the huge potential in third world countries this is probably the way to go.
