So, is that basically it? The registry gets bigger as you add programs... but that would apply to 95 too. There must be something else?

I did notice the improved driver database, but I had got quite used to 95's resources in that area.

I haven't checked out msconfig or Tweak UI. Maybe I'll do an install on a spare drive to see what it is.

How do you feel about the "view as web page" deal? That's my biggest gripe with 98. It's blatant manipulation. Do you view as a web page? I like to bring folders up in a small-size box, and the web-page format screws that up and I resent having to change each new folder to NOT view as a web page when there should obviously be a global option for that. That really sticks in my craw....... AAARRRRRGH!!!!
