Daflye: TYX.X set a third lower high in 7 weeks, with lower lows. A break of 5.4 would be way bullish for equities??? or signal another top.
LG you follow that pretty closely , no?

Yes, I follow it, but that does not mean I always know what it is saying...<g>

To All: Anyone out there have a "fundamental" reason for the Dow Transports moving up? I know that some think rate hikes make actually take this time...anything else?

Regards,
LG

Daflye,

The TICK got as high as +900 but the DOW only got to up 50. Not a powerful move considering the strong number of TICKs.

Dayfle, the OEX p/c ratio would be meaningless in case of a true panic developing...but the potential window for a short term panic was closed with yesterday's rebound in the nasdaq. so i have to assume that it is bullish for now.
