This is a feeding frenzy of posts! How is a poor working slob like me supposed to get any work done?

John, DaveMG: I think that the Thornley statement about estimating royalties for purposes of recording an accrual number was based on the proportion of Q's handset sales to Q's ASIC sales, as their internal rule of thumb. Don't know if this helps.

JG, Jon: Agree with JGoren's conclusion. Imo, they will not convene a special meeting of S/H just to authorize more shares to enable a further split.

A further note to you guys and girls: again, Steve's (of the ASIC Div) comment on the CC astounds me: "whether a licensee is signed for one of Q's patents or for all, it is the same royalty structure." Amazing implications!

Congratulations to the tenured holders. Regards. Liacos_samui
