Tom; on (3)INDEX's go to upper-right corner, click arrow on box which gives you a choice of: 'daily', 'basic' & 'performance'; click 'performance' and the page will change to show you entry date for each individual stock, it's entry price, amount of shares bought for $1,000, and overall performance since the date the stock was listed on the INDEX through today.

Go to bottom of page and under 'percentage gain/loss' you will find the total percentage gain since the start of each INDEX. All percentages quoted come directly from this automatic computation on each SI index portfolio.

All (3) INDEX portfolio links can be found on post #6734. I appreciate your questioning the percentage gains on the INDEX's, it's always important to get honest and straight-forward answers.

Welcome to the thread...regards, sw
