There will be laggards that catch up as people look for stocks that have not "participated". But never fear...it all comes back to the price of oil -- the mother of all that is green.

HLX is likely talking to lots of folks about a merger. They are prone to be deal makers. Plus, every investment banker on earth is promoting every form of combination that even Slider could imagine. Sometimes these "talks" get little legs and maybe even progress a bit, and then leaks come out and then the deal doesn't progress...so goes the business of deals.

What worries me about HLX is they are spread too thin over too many shipyards, their profit margins are thin -- in general, they don't seem to be managing "good". This is just a feeling on my part based on what I hear on the street.

With all that said, that doesn't mean the stock won't jump in spits and spurts. The stock prices have little to do with real business on a day to day basis.
