There was an article in this morning's USA Today that noted that E*Trade is about to give customers a choice when they make a trade whether they want to have the trade executed by an ECN (like Archipelago, of which we own 25%) or by a traditional market-maker. E*Trade is, once again, the first on-line broker to offer such a choice, which I suspect will be warmly welcomed by frequent traders.

Can't keep a hyped stock down you mean! I am long too, but face it Etrade passed any rational valuation long ago.

I was a bit worried the hype had ended, but looks like it will go on for a while longer.
