Gene - I didn't know about the 5 corrections precisely, but what is interesting is the SPEED of the corrections. Do you remember in April '97, I think (or was it '96) when the whole month was lousy and CSCO hit $45 (two splits ago)? We suffered for weeks even though we new recovery was inevitable. Now it comes as a two day heart attack, that challenges every notion you have, and then goes away.

I was lucky enuff to lower my margin before this crash (though I couldn't stay in cash - MUST BUY STOCKS!). In the last two days I've been building that margin up again. Got some bargains, so when NAS hits next record I'll be ahead - best I can hope for.

How 'bout all those great earnings reports, SEBL, QCOM, EGRP, QWST, whew? Are the tech companies gonna make any money?
