here's something i just read today: a way to have two different windows take up equal space on the screen (horizontally or vertically) other than by manually resizing and moving the windows... simply minimize all windows except those you would like to keep on the desktop, then right-click on an unused portion of the windows taskbar and select either tile horizontally or tile vertically. when you want to put things back the way they were, select undo tile. :) mark
