The thing that keeps me going is that even though Intel delayed the release of its Camino chipset until September, RDRAM still has to begin ramping in June. My reasoning is that if computers are going to ship in September that are RDRAM compliant, they sure as heck aren't going to ship without memory.

Therefore, you are going to see alot more companies jumping into the void and ramping up production starting in June. That gives plenty of lead time to get them circulating for the September push. Sure the memory business is risky, but the semiconductors that get a lot of market share early will get most of the profits while the prices are still high.
