Results are before non-cash and merger related charges... Revenues jumped an impressive 16% sequentially and 114% year/year... Management continues to do a great job executing business plan... Integration of CKS going smoothly... USWB quickly emerging as the dominant Internet and marketing communications services company... Should be noted that stock has gotten slammed over past couple weeks amid concern over earnings and speculation that research house would issue "short" report... However, company's much better than expected results suggest that investors need not worry about earnings... Those who should worry are the shorts... If stock sustains today's momentum and gets back above 31 look for short squeeze to give stock a big lift... Recent weakness leaves stock trading at very attractive valuations... Another concern to shorts... USWB trades at 54x projected FY99 earnings and 33x estimated FY00 results... Long-term growth rate is 55%... Not too many Net stocks trade at discounts to their long-term growth rates... Briefing.com doesn't expect USWB to trade at a discount much longer.... We maintain that the best strategy regarding Net investing is to own the group leaders, USWB qualifies.
