I've left a message for the investor relations folks at bid.com re. the release date of Q1 results. I'll let you know what I hear back. Obviously it will be in the next 2 weeks however.

In terms of whether they'll be positive... this is just my speculation. In the CBS Marketwatch article, a spokeswoman for the company was quoted as indicating estimated revenue in 1999 of $50million. I don't think they would say that and then turn around a week later and show poor Q1 results. I would think that $10-$15million would be reasonable leading to a $50million annual number. So, this would result in 70% to 150% growth vs. Q4/98 which will raise a few investors' eyebrows I'm sure.

Someone else on this thread also indicated that Godin said in an interview that he thought that the market would be pleasantly surprised with the Q1 results. I'm going to try and search back through all these messages to see if I can find a source re. the interview. I don't actually remember there being one though so it could be more idle gossip.
