Dave, two questions and a comment.

First, from the news release.

<<... the Company is seeking approval from the shareholders at
this time for a share consolidation and ...
... The shareholders will be asked to vote on this at the
Company's annual general meeting on May 21, 1999 ...>>

(1) I'am new to voting, so if I'am not at the meeting how do I vote.
Do I need to request a form, or will all shareholders be sent them
prior to the meeting, and if so, do they have to be received by when ?

(2) If the Mongolia situation is resolved prior to May 21 to a satisfactory
resolution to MGR, then my read of the news release is that the consolidation will not be done even if passed. (agree ? yes or no)

comment:

presently all is up in the air, as in,
4 weeks from today the Mongolia situation could be bad or good or no news
posters can predict doom and gloom
or predict all will be well and good
and no one knows for sure
except that I wonder
those shareholders that say MGR is a dead Dog and finished
have they sold
and if not
what are you waiting for
or do you not trust your opinion
and if so
why tell it

Doug
