Michelle -- I go with the sexist baseball saying 'it ain't over till the fat lady sings'. IBM is the fat lady. I expect pretty good results there and hold calls. I would like to see them split here as well. By the end of the month we will probably have stretched the rubber band beyond the breaking point. I will sell the really heart thumping rallies -- I hope there are still a few left.

I don't have anything on margin but I still took profits today. Waaay too early though. Sold my QCOM 150 May calls for a triple when I coulda held on for a quintiple. Sold my DCLK may 140's for 69% gain when I coulda got 100%. I have a large cash position and was looking for a mid morning pull back to re-enter. It never came. Now only holding a way under water SUNW call position (despite the $5 gain in the stock) and a slightly underwater AOL call position which I tried to add to today but kept under bidding until I gave up when it was at 136 1/2. I rarely buy stock. Keep back a lot of cash for days like Monday and pile into calls but I chickened out and made a $2 gain on some AMTD puts instead. Big deal.
With such large swings up and down in the Inuts, I find having a lot of cash around to buy the dips is still more profitable than watching my pfolio value go up and down so dramatically when I am fully invested.
