Society's fault? I can't agree with that.

There has got to be personal responsibility taken. I've only heard a few people say that this was the killer's fault, that they are to blame. I've heard everything else under the sun. You name it - society, the parents, the MEDIA, movies, TV, the Internet, Y2K (believe it or not), etc. Don't you get it -- the kids did it, no one else. As long as no one takes personal responsibility for anything anymore, then no one is really to blame. Society is to blame? What an easy cop out. Society is everyone, and no one, all at the same time.

I'm having trouble dealing with this today. I got a call from my wife about an hour ago that several students were observed wearing black trenchcoats at my son's middle school this morning. Their parents were called to come pick them up. They let their kids go to school today dressed like that? I am appalled, and scared.
