Intel is extremely hard to duplicate, DCLK has nothing proprietary and nothing that can't be replicated by a few programmers in a few weekends.

No barrier to entry. Well, the main barrier is that everyone knows the net companies are unprofitable businesses in the first place, so the only people who WILL compete with them are companies who plan to go public and make their execs rich through stock.

Since the fundamental business plan for 99% of pure play net companies is to give away a dollar bill for 95 cents, it is no wonder that most "sectors" of the internet charade have few competitors. Why would I, as a businessman, want to go into one of those sectors if it has been clearly proven that you cant make PROFITS in that sector? The answer: nobody wants to, unless they think they can go public.
