Brian--If we blow through 80 on a close, this wave that started at 60.5 may likely extend past 90. That's one of the things about EW--Wave 3 often 'extends' (wave iii of 3 itself extends in a 5 subwave sequence). As I see it, we started wave 3 from 62ish and added 16pts and then pulled back to 71 at yesterday's low and now we're in a 5--with key resistance in the 77-80 area... But, it is possible that 3 will extend--ie the 16pts was only (i) of the 3rd wave so add a min 16pts from 71 and one gets 87 at least etc....I don't think that it likely to play out this way, but it may.... My preferred count is that we are now in the process of completing 5 of the sequence from 60.5 and will peak out say at 78-79 to complete subwave 1 of wave 3 and then start to retrace. My best guess on this basis is that we retrace back to 69-71 and then base out again to reload in order to start the larger push above 80 the next time around. my 2c only
