I think it is not wise to bet on just one "reasonable investment" and sit back, unless you happen to own the business yourself (in which case, you can't sit back; you will be working your butt off! <G>)

At the same time, you have to limit the number of stocks in your portfolio. As Warren Buffett once said, if you get one of this and one of the other, and one of yet another, what you have is not a portfolio; it is a zoo! <G>

I feel that an eclectic, concentrated portfolio (10 to 15 stocks) of proven, successful businesses that exhibit the potential to continue doing well in the future, is the best way to go.

Well put Addi, matches my sentiments exactly. Right now I'm 100% in semis and looking to buy more for the next year while looking for 50+% return for the year. I see minimum downside risk, assuming a 2 year+ semi upturn.

PS No, I'm not rich, but like to be. My goals are not outrageous either.

LSI Logic Run Raises $60,000 for Milpitas High School

MILPITAS, Calif., April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The LSI Logic Classic Run raised $60,000
for a new math and science building scheduled to open at Milpitas High School in
September. Proceeds from Sunday's 10K run and 5K walk will be used to purchase new
computer equipment, software and other lab materials.

"The proceeds from this year's run will help bring our math and science program up to
state-of-the-art standards," said Charles Perotti, superintendent of the Milpitas Unified

old. Thanks to LSI Logic's (NYSE: LSI) support, our students will be able to conduct more
sophisticated science experiments, using the latest hardware and software tools."

The 48,500-square-foot math and science facility will house 32 classrooms, including 12
science labs. In its nine-year history, the LSI Logic Classic Run has raised nearly $400,000
for Milpitas schools.
