Two good reasons Ebay would want to buy BII is the technology and the head start in THE REST OF THE WORLD!! Some of our American friends should look at all the biggest and best American companies...most make most of their sales and profits outside the U.S.A.. By the way, there was a recent article about IBM that said they expect 25% of their sales from the internet and that they think auctions will be a key factor. They mentioned 2 kinds of auctions... yankee auctions(increasing price) and dutch(declining price) auctions. Now does it make more sense for BII to be hotly pursued?
