Depends on how much you are willing to lose. Pretend MCF was trading
at $1.55 right now after a mutual fund dumped it...you'd be pretty
happy about your $2.62 stop being hit. Would you be as happy with
a $2.42 stop being hit? No, but you'd still be holding your shares
now at $3.20. It's just a big trade off.

In the long run stops will help you more than they hurt you.

I have had it with stops...set them only if you think it is very speculative otherwise ride it out team.

If i may ask you kind folks........what ta indicators do you use? You can be very brief. Like momentum avg? macd? on your daily charts? I know yall have MD, but cant afford that yet.
