I don't know what bre-x is doing here but the entire blame is on Toronto and New York where all the big scams have always taken place anyway. Although I was very sad that such a thing ever happened, I was happy to see those " I believe I'm smart" blue suits take it on the chin! As far as BIDS is concerned REALITY is finally setting in for many investors and I think it is good. I've mentioned many times the stock was too high and now I am a "I believe I am smart" kind of guy. I said before I would wait for BIDS to come down some more before I pick it up again but now I 'm not so sure because some of these internet stocks WILL NOT REBOUND. Too much momentum money is out of the stock now. A trader at Salomon said: " There is an absurd level of optimism priced into these stocks that isn't sustainable."
